The Southern Metro regional area provides a diverse range of services to individuals who experience a mental illness or who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and their families and carers. Minds Southern Metro region operates a range of Youth and Adult residential rehabilitation services, Respite services, Outreach and Personal Helpers and Mentor programs (PHaMs).
The Southern Metro Regional Administration & Project Worker provides administrative and project support to the Southern Metro Regional Manager and programs located in these regions. The position will participate and provide support to a broad range of regional initiatives and ongoing regional and program requirements. The position will work under the direction of the Regional Manager and will liaise with program managers in the region along with other Mind staff as required. Further, the position will also involve undertaking some administrative support functions related to the operation of the Southern Metro Regional Office.

Individual Psychosocial Rehabilitation Support Services is a program designed to support clients with a mental illness living in the community to enhance their independence and community participation and to assist them in their journey of recovery. Psychosocial Rehabilitation Support Services is delivered in the clients home environment.
Mind works in partnership with the local mental health teams and individually tailors the length and type of support required by the client. Services are delivered in a framework of participation and flexibility. The client and where appropriate the family and significant others will be actively engaged in the management of the areas that are impacted by their circumstances. Mind will also support the client to access a range of other services including housing, health, education and training services.
The Community Rehabilitation Worker will be an integral part of the IPRSS team, working within a framework of recovery, supporting clients to identify, develop and maintain a sustainable and purposeful lifestyle that has meaning and value to them, actively support participation in community life, manage day-to-day activities and to reduce social and physical dislocation.

The Returning Home service is based in Southern Adelaide and offers outreach support to people with a mental illness who are transitioning to the community from Glenside Hospital. Outreach services are delivered in a model of psycho-social rehabilitation within a Recovery framework. The program endeavours to work in partnership with Mental Health both Hospital and Community teams and incorporates all other stakeholders relevant to the individual client.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
Provide 1st and 2nd level help desk support in a operation role
Assists with installations, configuration of computers, and ongoing usability of desktop & laptop computers, peripheral equipment and software with established standards and guidelines
Work with vendors to resolve technical problems with equipment and software
Ensure desktops interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including file servers, email servers, application servers and administrative systems
Train staff on basic use of hardware, software and remote access
Recommends and / or performs upgrades on systems
Works with the business to purchase hardware and software
One to two years experience using the following technologies:

The role of Lead Tenant is to provide a woman in her late 50s with some mental health issues with a stable and accepting environment, companionship, social support and guidance with cooking and cleaning.
The position offers free accommodation and a generous allowance for expenses. You will be sharing a comfortable third floor apartment walking distance to South Yarra station. You will be required to have a presence in the house five nights per week, from 6pm8am the next morning.
This voluntary position would suit someone with an interest/experience in supporting others in the community or a mature student of social work/psychology. Case management is provided to woman by experienced staff. The Lead Tenant will receive ongoing support and supervision in this role and an oncall service is available in the evenings.

The Bendigo Prevention And Recovery Care Service (PARC) is an exciting new innovative component of the Mental Health service system in rural Victoria. The service combines the expertise of Mind psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery focused care, including associated community support services; with the expertise of Bendigo Health clinical and CAT teams. The program is designed as a step-up step-down service, which will enable people to move directly from their home to the PARC service, or from the Psychiatric Acute unit in Bendigo.
The Support Worker - PARC will work as part of a team that provides support to consumers in developing skills and confidence to live as independently as possible in the environment of their choice.

Central East PHaMs is a Personal Helpers and Mentors (PHaMs) outreach program for people recovering from serious mental illness. The program recognises that community support and social connection are integral components of recovery. Accordingly, it seeks to assist clients to access community-based support services as well as clinical services. The focus is to assist clients to gain confidence in their own abilities in order to live independently in the community and this is achieved by assisting them to connect with their local community; establish their own supportive networks; and to facilitate links to social, educational and employment opportunities as appropriate
The Team Leader will assist the Program Manager to provide supervision, support and annual staff appraisals, as well as reviewing the process of clients care and management. The Team Leader will also provide leadership in the day to day operations of the PHaMs service including service delivery, service development, networking and service promotion, staffing, staff supervision and professional development, finances, quality controls and evaluation. The Team Leader will also have a small caseload of clients.
